Til Quadflieg berät seine Mandanten seit vielen Jahren im Bereich des Gewerblichen Rechtsschutzes, im Urheberrecht, im Wettbewerbs- und Wirtschaftsrecht, Know-How-Schutz sowie im Presse- und Äußerungsrecht und setzt ihre Ansprüche in nationalen und internationalen Kontexten gerichtlich durch.
Til Quadflieg hat parallel Jura und Philosophie in Bremen studiert und zählte mit seinen Abschlüssen jeweils zu den Jahrgangsbesten. Im Anschluß hieran war er zwei Jahre in der Wissenschaft am Lehrstuhl für Rechtsphilosophie und Rechtstheorie sowie Strafrecht und Strafprozessrecht von Prof. Felix Herzog tätig. Nach seinem Rechtsreferendariat in Berlin (u.a. mit Station bei CMS Hasche Sigle), war er als Rechtsanwalt für die internationale top-tier Kanzlei Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan in München tätig, wo er u.a. mit den „Smartphone Wars“ befasst war. Weitere Stationen waren die deutschen top-tier Kanzleien Harmsen Utescher und Preu Bohlig & Partner. Til Quadflieg berät Unternehmen und Privatpersonen (diese insbesondere im Presse- und Äußerungsrecht sowie im Arbeitnehmererfinderrecht) mit dem Anspruch klarer, transparenter und persönlicher Kommunikation. Er verfügt über ein umfangreiches nationales und internationales Netzwerk und kann so auch größere „gemischte“ Anwaltsteams für rechtsgebietsübergreifende Konflikte zusammenstellen oder seine Mandanten in internationalen Konstellationen beraten.
Patent Law:
Til Quadflieg has many years of experience in patent infringement and nullity proceedings, strategic patent law advice, employee invention law and successful cooperation with patent attorneys. Among others, he has handled numerous litigations in the fields of telecommunications, information technology and pharmaceuticals. Most recently, Til Quadflieg has also given several lectures in Hamburg and Berlin on the patenting of digital technologies and software as well as on eco-innovation. He also has extensive knowledge of the unitary patent system ("EU patent"), which is why he will soon publish a book on this topic.
Trademark Law:
Til Quadflieg has extensive experience in trademark infringement proceedings (including preliminary injunction proceedings), strategic trademark counseling and opposition proceedings before the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA) and the EU Trademark Office (EUIPO). He files applications for the registration of German trademarks, EU trademarks and IR trademarks and manages trademark portfolios.
Protection of Trade Secrets:
Til Quadflieg advises his clients on the protection of trade secrets. He drafts complex non-disclosure agreements (“NDA’s”) and assists in the implementation of appropriate non-disclosure measures. He closely cooperates with attorneys from the fields of employment law / criminal law and with patent attorneys, if required. Most recently, Til Quadflieg successfully represented a client in a complex trade secrets litigation in the innovative technology / medical sector (main proceedings including preliminary injunction proceedings).

In the field of competition law, Til Quadflieg has many years of litigation experience in particular with the prohibition of general misleading advertisement, the advertising in the medical sector (including Health Claims Regulation), and the protection of products against imitation under competition law (“wettbewerbsrechtlicher Leistungsschutz”). His most recent paper on this field is "Die wettbewerbliche Eigenart technischer Erzeugnisse in der Rechtsprechung des BGH" (= „the competitive originality of technical products in the case-law oft he German Supreme Court“; WRP 2/2020, pp. 159-166).

Til Quadflieg represents his clients throughout Germany in press and media law. For example, he recently successfully represented one of his clients in a complex socio-political case in Munich, which received national media attention.
